Retaining Lifetime Use and Rental Income Over Property
Property owners in Turkey frequently transfer legal bare ownership (Kuru Mülkiyet) to heirs while retaining a lifetime Usufruct Right (İntifa Hakkı).
1. Rights of the Usufruct Holder
The usufruct holder enjoys exclusive rights to reside in the property, collect all rental income, and manage the premises.
2. Termination of Usufruct Rights
Usufruct rights automatically extinguish upon the death of the beneficiary or via voluntary surrender at the Land Registry Office.
